This strategy was launched in January 2021 by the SDG16+ Coalition following a consultative process. The Steering Committee of the SDG16+ Coalition is made-up of the Global Alliance for Reporting Progress on Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, the Transparency, Accountability and Participation (TAP) Network, the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, the Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS), and the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA).

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE OF SDG16+
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 ambitious Sustainable Development Goals, expressing an unprecedented commitment to building more peaceful, just and inclusive societies by 2030. Yet, as we get closer to the half-way mark, powerful trends and interests hold back progress towards peace, justice and inclusion (SDG16+). With mounting global risks linked to COVID-19, economies and societies are under growing stress.

OUR VISION FOR 2030
The vision below outlines our objectives and aspirations for progress on SDG16+, along with the concrete strategic goals that can help the SDG16+ Coalition in achieving this vision.
