The ECOSOC President has issued the attached letter announcing the final list of 44 VNR countries in 2021.
The 2021 session of the HLPF will be held 6-15 July under the pithy theme of... ‘Sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, that promotes the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development: Building an inclusive and effective path for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda in the context of the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development’...
There will be nine focus SDGs under in-depth review: 1 (poverty), 2 (hunger), 3 (health), 8 (jobs and economic growth), 10 (inequalities), 12 (consumption and production), 13 (climate), 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions), and as always 17 (partnership for the Goals).
