This side event will highlight key dimensions of transformative education and how it contributes to sustainable development. The high-level panel will focus on the role of transformative education in coping with global challenges, how it complements traditional education in transmitting knowledge and skills, and how it could best incorporate information and communications technology (ICT) inside and outside of the classroom. The panelists will outline ways to better engage youth in tackling global challenges and explore how transformative education fosters mutual understanding and respect among different peoples and cultures.
