This side event brings together conflict-affected countries and aims to transform their shared history of fragility into a mutually-beneficial engagement on their way to development. During the event, each state will showcase the progress it has made toward achieving the targets on SDG 16, highlighting successful policies for building a peaceful and stable society. The participants and their development partners will identify common trends between countries and prioritize policy actions that will enable conflict-affected states in their pursuit of peace, justice and inclusion.
