Drawing on the findings of the 2018 Global Partnership Monitoring Round, this breakout session will discuss key bottlenecks and share lessons on upholding internationally-agreed effectiveness principles in fragile contexts, and introduce the tailored approach to monitoring effectiveness in fragile contexts that will be rolled out in the next Global Partnership Monitoring Round. Bringing concrete examples at the country-level, this session will explore how governments, development partners, and national development actors in fragile contexts are working to embed effectiveness into partnerships.
