The oil and gas industry is central to the global economy and many national economies, especially in developing countries. While this industry has already made progress in areas such as economic development, capacity building, community and anti-corruption, climate change due the excessive burn of fossil fuels remains a challenge.  This Atlas aims to encourage the oil and gas industry to incorporate relevant SDGs and to seize the opportunity to align their businesses with sustainable development.
