This tool is recommended as a tool in the UNDG Mainstreaming Reference Guide and supports countries in assessing their readiness for SDG implementation in four steps. Step 1 helps map SDG national development and sectoral plans against the SDG targets. For SDG 16, this can be very useful, as responsibilities for SDG targets are often spread across many different national institutions.
