This Guide is intended to help State Members to fullfill the commitment to report on the SDGs. The Guidelines are not prescriptive, considering that the reporting process is country-led, so each country must built their own process based on national objectives and the global commitments to the SDGs. Therefore, the Guidelines aim to help countries to:
- Pinpoint the greatest needs for partnerships among stakeholders
- Identify country data and capacity gaps
- Provide on integrated, systematic and ohased approaches to addressing data needs for review process
