The Future We Want To See: Re-imagining Rule Of Law, Security and Human Rights and the Inclusive Social Contract

To build on discussions in UNDP’s 2020 Annual Meeting on the Rule of Law and Human Rights, an online global consultation has been set up to dig deeper into some of the topics discussed and provide an opportunity to connect, network and share on current and future trends in Rule of Law support.
The crowd-sourced insights in these three discussion rooms will contribute to a re-imagination of UNDP’s governance, rule of law and peacebuilding portfolio. They will also be used to inform the future priorities of UNDP in these areas and the design of the UNDP Global Programme (2022-2025).

The online consultation will host 3 discussion rooms:
- Room 1: Annual Meeting Lounge - Networking and Discussion;
- Room 2: Reflecting on UNDP’s focus on Rule of Law, Security and Human Rights: What has worked well and what hasn’t?; and
- Room 3: Reimagining Rule of Law, Security and Human Rights for a better future. Share your perspectives on trends, opportunities and priorities here.
Pease take the time to share your feedback and experiences with us so that we can better meet the needs of the Decade of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals; the UN Secretary-General’s Call to Action for Human Rights; the UN Sustaining Peace agenda; UN socio-economic recovery plans, UNDP’s Climate Promise; UNDP Covid Response 2.0; and UNDP Digital Strategy.
