UNDP energy governance framework:

The energy governance paper that will be released on 15th November highlights four critical focus areas for energy governance: Inclusive and effective institutions, policy and regulatory frameworks, civic engagement and empowerment, and appropriate and independent oversights.  It has also discussed the importance of four cross-cutting approaches: inclusive and people centered approach, multi-level governance, harnessing digital innovations, and flexible and adaptive governance. The paper has taken a system thinking approach and emphasized the importance of these areas along with bringing some key actions that needs to be undertaken to improve clean energy access and accelerating the just energy transition for sustainable development.
