This Guide sets out an updated general framework for the development of a national system of criminal justice statistics. It is written in a non-technical language to allow the the participation and cooperation of many sectors, specially managers, administrators, professionals, technicians, scholars, researchers, academics, practitioners and others directly or indirectly concerned with criminal justice issues.
This Guide also includes an annex to highlight some of the practical issues related to the design and creation of a sound data collection system.
